People talk about "sudden adult death syndrome" like it's some brand new thing, but years before COVID-19 my own father just dropped dead suddenly for no apparent reason. They may well be on the rise, but such deaths have always been much more common than most people think.

@adamasnemesis Having a life cut short is never a good thing, and I'm sorry for your father, but given a choice, I'd take death with no premonition and no more than a moment's pain over many alternatives.
